On Tuesdays senior citizens get a discount, and on Wednesdays a large stuffed baked potato with meat is 9.00. The meals are flavorful. I was impressed with the friendly & helpful staff. ”
“ Food had a LOT of flavor. The meat was pretty grease. But you are looking at a BBQ place. Staff are quick working and usually busy. I can tell this place is popular in this town and a nice break for me from chain restaurants. A little spendy, but you do get what you pay for here. If im ever around here I will be stopping by again. ”
“ I purchased a baked potato double chopped brisket but after arriving home I discoved that there was no extra meat on the potato. After calling and explaining the situation to staff they were very accomodating and made the order right and the potato was amazing as usual. I give hot rods a 10 and i highly recommend their baked potato extra meat :) Thanks guys! ”
“ I was pleasantly surprised. Brisket didn't look great, so opted for 1/2 slab ribs & 1/2pt tater salad. Very tender, good smoke & flavor. Saw their chicken plated and definitely want to return to try that. That customer said it's always juicy, tender, and lots of smokey flavor. ”

Pulled pork was very good! Ribs were tender and delicious as well. Ordering was different. Not what I expected! The lady behind me just said you order and he plates it. But the man cutting the meats hadn't acknowledged me. And I knew he was prepping other meals. We did finally order. Meats are plated and then you serve yourself sides. Again, great place and delicious food! ”
